Beginner to Intermediate Level Hand Lettering workshop with Efdot (Eric Friedensohn) in Mexico City! This is Eric's first and only class in Mexico City to date.
Saturday March 3rd, 12pm - 3pm. Arrive early at 11:30 for coffee and hang time.
Location is at WeWork Reforma Latino
In this 3 hour workshop, you'll learn:
- Various styles of lettering
- Anatomy of letterforms
- How to use your handwriting as a base for script lettering
- Creating unique compositions
- Adding balanced ligatures and flourishes
- Biggest mistakes of beginner lettering artists
- How to photograph and edit photos of your work
- Q & A at the end of the workshop
The goal is for beginners to come and leave with intermediate level knowledge. All skill levels are welcome! Students should be comfortable using a pen or pencil, but no previous lettering experience is necessary. All materials are included in ticket price.
